Built by an Operator

More than three decades inside the flooring business have included senior leadership across distribution, commercial contracting, installation, sales, operations, and market development.

Peter Rincione has served as President and CEO of PTS, a regional flooring distributor, and as President of Spectra Contract Flooring in Denver, part of one of North America's largest commercial flooring organizations. He has also served in flooring industry boards and association leaderships.

Greige Matter draws on that operating experience to examine businesses from the inside out: how they make money, where they lose it, how markets change around them, and how leadership decisions translate into operating results.

About the Author

Peter Rincione is the founder of Greige Matter LLC and author of The Little Greige Book, a collection of observations and practical insights drawn from decades of leadership in the flooring industry.

His career includes executive leadership in commercial contracting, distribution, and retail, along with extensive involvement in industry associations and advisory boards.

Through Greige Matter, he writes about industry economics, operational performance, strategic decision-making, and the emerging influence of artificial intelligence on flooring businesses.
